    Various examples include- scammers impersonating airline customer service agents or tricking people into calling fake phone numbers. Thanks to AI, Google has reduced these kinds of scams by over 80% in Search.

    Meet Gemini Nano: Your On-Device Scam Shield

    Google’s lightweight version of its AI is its new model Gemini Nano. It runs directly on your device through Chrome’s Enhanced Protection mode.

    What this means is that your browser can now spot shady websites in real-time and warn you before you fall for a scam. How great is that? Moreover, this is going to be even more beneficial against tech support scams. The ones that push you download sketchy files or make you call fake numbers.
