Elon Musk’s group of investors just made an outrunning offer of $97.4 billion to the OpenAI nonprofit organization, the brains behind ChatGPT. This deal affords Musk to counter that Sam Altman’s and his own future paths are in battle over the questions of direction and principles.
A Clash of Visions
Musk, who himself co-founded OpenAI, has been intuitively inundated with remarks on how he hates the very idea of the non-profit’s game-on-going- public versus private company status. According to Musk’s own rationale, OpenAI’s mission, is actually to enable the world to create a friendly and transparent AI.
